There will also be time for Q&A at the end of each call.
Seven 90-Minute Write Your Book Group Coaching/Workshop Calls
Each Halo member will get feedback on his/her writing assignments. The great thing about group coaching is that you will learn as much from the feedback that the other members get, as the feedback you receive.
A 30-min One-On-One Set the Foundation Call with Sakada
This call, as you begin your Halo, will set the foundation for your book project & Halo participation. While this is a group program, finishing your book is key, so a great start is crucial.
The Power of the Halo - A 60-Minute Kick-Off Call
According to Keith Sawyer, author of Group Genius, "creativity is always collaborative." This is at the heart of what the Halos are about. In this call, we will look at how your halo can benefit everyone in the group, adding fuel to the fire that will get you each to a completed book manuscript. The power of the Halo rocks!
Constructive Workshopping - A 40-minute Workshop Training Call The workshopping of writing is an art and a science, and a time-proven format for writers. The workshops will give you a place to share your ideas and writing, and receive constructive and useful feedback from your fellow Halo participants. This will not only help you write your book, but also improve both your writing itself, and the creative process behind it.
In this training call we will set the guidelines and the goals for your workshopping in the Halo. Learning to make the most of your workshopping will be key to using the Halo to help you complete your book!
An Online Community & Writing Workshop
Writers need other writers. You will have an online community to give you both a foundation and a launching pad for your inspiration and commitment. You will also have an on-going writing workshop where you can share and receive feedback on your ideas and writing.
